The University of Western Scotland

Greetings-

Since our base of operations is going to be the University of Western Scotland, I thought you might like to take a look at the university.

Here is their homepage: University of Western Scotland

Take a quick look, especially at their class and degree offerings in the area of Criminal Justice.

Airfare is purchased!

Greetings-

Well, our airfare is in the bag! It's official, we're going to Scotland in June of 2015. Our group has shrunk to 9, but that's OK.

Over the next several months, we will be preparing for our trip. This means that we will be meeting on a regular basis. Please check your official school e-mail regularly as this will be the primary method of communication regarding updates and activities.

We (Prof. Dahl and myself) will be assembling our schedule that will bring us up to the day that we board the plane in June. Once we have this schedule completed, we'll get it out to you. We have a lot of work to do to get ready!

Congratulations on your decision to go to Scotland! We're looking forward to a great experience!

Meeting, Monday, November 24th

We will be meeting on:

Monday Nov. 24th at 2:00 pm in the Menninger Room (Benton Hall, 2nd floor across from the Criminal Justice office)

to purchase our airfare. We will be doing this as a group in order to travel on the same flight. Please come prepared to purchase your ticket. This means that you will need a credit or debit card. We will have a pretty solid price for the airfare before the meeting, so check your e-mail.

I'll see you on 11/24.

Welcome to the Scotland 2015 blogspot

Greetings and Ceud mìle fàilte!

I have created this blog to pass on useful information regarding our trip. I will also be posting photographs and video of our exploits in Scotland. At some point, you will be able to post comments and pictures yourself on this blog.

In the meantime, you can just read and enjoy the information that is here.

Thanks for making this trip possible, and I'm looking forward to traveling with you and experiencing the Scottish Criminal Justice System.
